Position Overview
The Boat Detailer is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, presentation, and overall aesthetic condition of vessels within the marina’s rental fleet, customer-owned boats, and showroom inventory. This position plays a vital role in maintaining high standards of appearance and readiness for customer use or display.
Primary Responsibilities
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional weekend shifts as required.

Primary Responsibilities
- Perform exterior cleaning and detailing of boats, including hulls, decks, and topsides, utilizing appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
- Clean and sanitize interior areas such as upholstery, flooring, compartments, and storage spaces.
- Remove stains, mildew, and debris using specialized techniques and products.
- Apply waxes and protective coatings as required to preserve and enhance boat surfaces.
- Conduct visual inspections to identify damage or maintenance needs and promptly report findings to the Service Manager.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the detailing area and associated equipment.
- Operate pressure washers, vacuums, buffers, and other tools safely and effectively.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and marina operational policies.
- Previous experience in marine or automotive detailing is preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Physical capability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment and supplies.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
